As a Wedding Photographer in Macclesfield I’ve pretty much worked at all the major venues in Cheshire and I’m often asked “which is my favourite?” and the answer is always the same it’s impossible to say. They all have different strengths and it all depends on the respective couples, some prefer modern over traditional, some prefer intimate over grandoise.

I now have around 6-7 couples booked as a Macclesfield Wedding Photographer and I’m catching up on a number of recent enquiries after coming back from a trip to France to visit friends, who are now enjoying “The Good Life” with a farmhouse and 3 gites to rent out in rural Normandy. In between milking goats collecting eggs from their chickens and working the land we had a fantastic break drinking some gorgeous wine. It’s a good job I made the most of it as the wedding season has well and truly kicked into gear since returning home.

I would have considered exhibiting at the Wedding Show at Tatton Park, however would you believe I’m booked at a Wedding at Peckforton Castle just outside, this has been in the news recently as disgruntled groom caused £6 million pounds worth of damage, by starting a fire on his wedding night, that engulfed the castle. The wedding I’m covering was due to take place last summer, but due to the fire it had to be postponed.

I may visit the Tatton Park Wedding Show on the Sunday, as it’e always good to see what’s going on within the wedding industry and also I would like to visit and meet with bridal dress companies to discuss Bridal Fashion shoots as I’ve done an increasing amount in that field over the last couple of years.

Wether I’m a Wedding Photographer at the Bridge Hotel Prestbury or anywhere else in Cheshire for that matter one of the challenges and worries is the beautiful British weather! talking of weather, I covered an October wedding in Southampton where the temperature touched 90 degrees the couple had to swap heaters for air conditioning units in their marquee.

So if I’m booked as a Bridge Hotel Prestbury Wedding Photographer I will prepare for all eventualities as I always do, but hopefully the umbrella and raincoat won’t be required, having said that some of the more interesting shots are achieved with dark cloudy skies. If I was to have a choice I would prefer sunshine and so would the bride and groom.

It most be so difficult for any bride to be to decide which Wedding Show to choose from, Tatton Park has to be one of Cheshire’s hidden gems. The gothic hall provides a stunning backdrop to the gorgeous lake and grounds. I would imagine the Wedding Show next year will be very busy and wouldn’t be surprised if the phone starts ringing for bookings for 2012.

I’m working at Tatton Park Wedding Show, in fact I haven’t advertised at any Wedding Show for the last 3 years, most of my work comes through recommendations and my website and at the moment I’m incredibly busy. I now have some new fantastic looking albums and they have been very well received by potential wedding clients, looks like I’m going to have a busy 2012!

Wedding Photography in Cheshire tends to quieten down around this time of year, but once the Christmas festivities are over the season explodes into life again, but bucking the seasonal trend I just finished a wedding today for an Indian couple in Manchester, we had a great day and I got some truly memorable shots.

When I create Cheshire Wedding Photography, I normally spend a full day editing the shots and it’s always nice looking back through the day that I covered. My main aim on creating an album for my client’s is to tell the story of their own unique day, from start to finish encapsulating the emotions of the day.

The Wilmslow Designer Bridal Wear is not on my agenda this weekend as we are expecting friends over from London, but after chatting at length with Mary from Maria Modes, I have decided to advertise my wedding photography in one of the shop’s free hand outs. As I live 5 mins from the shop I thought it would be a good idea to work together and advertise my services within the shop.

With the forthcoming Designer Bridal Wear Wilmslow I will hopefully have some of my new cards ready to leave at the shop for potential clients to pick up and keep. I’m also planning to put some imagery within the store showcasing my photographic style and with any Maria Modes client there will be a special offer so watch this space!
